Tea for Three

Back to the Rutherford House for High Tea! The food was adorable, as it came out on a tiered stand with bone china plates. The china tea cups were equally precious! As the end of summer is approaching, we thought it would be a good opportunity to wear some of our favorite pieces before the chilly weather arrives.

Freature Frog: Ambika and Grace

Living in Canada can be crazy, mostly because the weather is so unpredictable! In Edmonton, Grad (the same thing as Prom to Americans) is usually planned in May or June when the weather is predictably nice! My Grad was at the perfect time, we had nice weather. Unfortunately for my friends, Grace and Ambika, it snowed on their Grad day.

We decided to get all dressed up and go to a beautiful spot in the City where high school seniors go to take their Graduation Pictures before the banquet! Here are some of my favorite shots from Grace's and Ambika's belated graduation photo shoot.

Ambika and Grace wore their grad dresses, and I wore my commencement dress (which I dressed down even more for my behind the camera work). You can kind of get a glimpse of my photographer outfit in the last photo.

Finally! I own all the latest September issues! So exciting, can't wait for fall fashion: layers, cozy knits, boots, scarves, and everything else that comes with the cooler season! They're all little heavy to carry, but well worth the weight! - K

A Night with Buble :)

I had a lovely time in Calgary to visiting my good friend and fellow blogger Jeanine. We enjoyed some tapas at the Vin Room and then headed to the Michael Buble concert!
Definitely a summer night to remember!

Steal of the Day: See by Chloe Black Suede Booties

Gravity Pope is having an amazing sale right now! Chloe is one of my favourite fashion houses and I love what they are doing with their more accessible & less expensive sister line, See by Chloe. I saw these booties and knew I had to have them immediately. I got them without even thinking twice because of the ridiculous marked down price. They were originally $495 dollars and I got them for $90! They are a perfect summer-to-fall transition shoe, look forward to seeing them in future posts!

Freature Frog: Lindsey

My friend Lindsey has style that epitomizes the word classic. Some of her favourite brands include J. Crew, Ralph Lauren, and Burberry (this is probably why we get along so well). I love the fifties-madmen-esque throwback that this outfit exudes! Her dress is a beautiful blue color that reminds me of her (YALE!!) school colors. I'm sure this won't be the last you guys see of Lindsey because she definitely knows the meaning of 'C'est Classique'.

Hunter Wellingtons

Rain means Hunters! It's hard not to love wellies, they offer are the perfect balance of preppiness, grittiness and practacality. The rain also meant we could bring out our trench coats again. We definitely felt like we could be Burberry models channeling all these old English styles!

More Vacation Purchases: Accessories

Thought I'd show some of the accessories I bought on my trip! Mainly jewelry, I only happened to buy one pair of shoes, which I guess is good since I really don't need anymore ;)

The skull necklace and the wishbone are from the Marc by Marc Jacobs store on Melrose. The studded bracelet is Simply Vera by Vera Wang for Kohl's, the ring is from Club Monaco in Vancouver, and the hidden wedge shoes are by 80%20 from Intermix.
